A Married Lady!

Yes! I am back and this time as a married lady! In what is now the best weekend of my life, I married the fella of my dreams! The weather was wonderful, sun shining, birds singing . . . perfection. I might be biased, but it was the best wedding I have ever attended. :-)

Here is just a sneak peak of pictures from our photographer.
So Happy!

Being a Bachelorette!

I have been on quite a few bachelorette parties but let me tell you something, when YOU are the bachelorette, it is WAY more fun! :-) For my long-anticipated bachelorette party a group of amazing gal pals and I spent the weekend in San Diego, AKA Sun Diego. It was a fun-filled weekend with great friends and hilarious memories. To my amazing ladies: thanks for an unbelievable time. I love you gals!

All dressed up to hit the town.

But before that, a little fun. Just what every gal needs - a pillowcase with her fella on it! Expect to see this and the infamous Snoopy pillow on your next camping trip with the Scheffel's. :-) Thanks Laura - I love it!

My girls! Danny, me and Kristen at dinner. Like my tiara? :-)

Question: How do you ride a mechanical bull when you are wearing a tight white dress?
Answer: Have a good friend like Jenn let you borrow her jeans.

Yee Haw!!

The next day: Cruising in Mission Beach

So fun!

The crew on cruising day.

The ambassador of Dizzy Bat: Cody. Love ya girl - thanks for bringing the fun!

The ocean at last. I love it here!

iPhone, You Phone

I, like the rest of America, have an iPhone. I heart the iPhone. One of my continuing favorite things to do with my iPhone is to take pictures. Often times I will forget that I took the picture and stumble upon the picture at a much later time. Turns out these pictures are an excellent way to provide an overview, however random, of life over the last 6 months. Here are a few of my favorites.

Double Strike during bowling league - Glad I documented the night I 'brought the heat' at bowling!

I call this masterpiece "Tailgating". This is the image that pops up when my dad calls on my phone. :-)
Forgot I took this one of my friend Cori doing snow angels in the parking lot in McCall. Both the picture and the fact that I forgot taking it explain the type of night we had!
My brother poses with the set list from The Swell Season concert. An amazing band and a really special night with my little bro.
I snuck this pick of the band.
Time to Fiesta!?!?!?

Be Joyful, Be Present

Yes, it has been ages since I have posted on this blog. I honestly thought about giving it up but then it occurred to me that I could be missing out on an opportunity to keep record of a really fun and exciting time in my life. So bear with me, the next several posts are going to be 'catch up' posts.

I have a new internal mantra that runs through my head daily, "Be Joyful, Be Present". I can't lie, this wedding planning, moving in, future planning stuff is overwhelming. That said, I realize that is the only time in my life when I will have an experience like this. I don't plan on getting married again and Scot and I will never have this time of joining lives (and stuff) again. So in an effort to 'Be Joyful, Be Present', I am going to post all the fun stuff that has led up to where I am right now. 16 days till our wedding. Whoo Hoo!!!

Engagement Photos - Sneak Peak

Watch out! This little used blog of mine is quickly becoming ALL about wedding stuff. At least until June 19, 2010! :-)

Here is a sneak peak at our engagement photos. http://sjpweddings.com/blog/ We had a blast with this photographer. His name is John Harrell (http://sjpweddings.com/). Turns out his wife and I went to Sunday school together growing up! They made us feel totally comfortable and we were even a little bummed when the session was over. Can't wait to work with these guys again on the wedding day!!

The Engagement Story . . .

I shot this little video on the night we got engaged. You can tell that I am pretty giddy in the video. :-)

I Said YES!!

Yep, Christmas was very good this year! Scot asked me to marry him Christmas night at his cabin in McCall. Everything about it was magical, including the beautiful ring. Here I am seen showing if off with a picture taken with my new camera lens. More on the engagement to come . . . .
